Paxton Talarico Texas Senate Race
Paxton, Talarico Vie in Expensive Texas Senate Race
Recent polls show challenger James Talarico leading incumbent Ken Paxton in a highly competitive Texas Senate race, one of the most expensive in U.S. history.
The Texas Senate race between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico is a closely watched contest. Paxton, the state's attorney general, was impeached in 2023 but acquitted. Talarico, a state representative, is campaigning on issues of faith, public schools, and the cost of living.
